Workshops take place at Hato HQ on the ground floor of our studio space. The classes are condensed into short, insightful and playful formats within the fields of design, publishing and production, and are perfect for group bookings of creatives and non-creatives as well as individuals.

Learn how to make your very own self­-contained botanical ecosystem with London Terrariums. We will start with a short introduction explaining the history and science that goes into building a terrarium, from the different plants you can use to why activated charcoal has become an essential for us. During a demonstration you will learn about each of a terrarium's components and their importance, all of the varied plants and mosses that can be used, and how to use each of the special, unique (and hand­made!) tools. Then it is up to you guys to get your hands in there and build your own!

All terrarium contents, glass vessels and tools are supplied, and you will walk away with a living terrarium to watch as it develops and flourishes. London Terrariums will send you home with a bag to pop your terrarium in and also a care guide with details on should you have any further questions.
