Learn with Hato is a curated series of workshops informed by the notion of learning through play. All our workshops, whether printing a riso masterpiece, or making the perfect kimchi pickle, are framed around our belief that having fun is the best way to learn something new.

During a demonstration you will learn about each of a terrarium's components and their importance, all of the varied plants and mosses that can be used, and how to use each of the special, unique (and hand­made!) tools.

All terrarium contents, glass vessels and tools are supplied, and you will walk away with a living terrarium to watch as it develops and flourishes, as well as a hand screen­printed London Terrariums tote bag and care­guide.

Workshops take place at Hato HQ on the ground floor of our studio space. The classes are condensed into short, insightful and playful formats within the fields of design, publishing and production, and are perfect for group bookings of creatives and non-creatives as well as individuals.

Bespoke Workshops

Learn with Hato now offers tailored workshops. Whether you're a group of coders looking to learn about print or part of a design studio interested in book binding, we will create a bespoke session designed just for you. Each workshop has a capacity of 12 and takes place at Hato HQ.
