Glas documents Jochen Holz's new range of borosilicate glassware, available from the Hato store. His fluid approach to texture and form is is seen through the medium of Risograph printer. Textured glassware is dragged across the glass scan bed of the Riso printer, creating an interaction between the smooth transparent and the rough translucent, that allows a glimpse into the phantasmal nature of Holz's work. When paired with photographs of the pieces, we are presented with a dialogical exploration of form and matter, blurring the lines between the solid, three-dimensional objects, and fluid flat screens. 140 x 270mm, 20pp.
