The zine ただいま [Tadaima] shows the perspective of artist Piccolo who documented her small family unit during 2021 using a Kodak Instax mini 11 camera. Through photographs and drawings the zine shows an untold perspective from her eyes, there is no alternative set up, it's another year, filled with cooking in the kitchen, working in the garden, lying on the sofa and interacting with her dog Whiskey.
Rei is an emerging artist, designer and mark maker (aged 2 when this zine was documented) now at 3 years old goes by the artist name of Piccolo after her favourite character Fio Piccolo, from Hayao Miyazaki's Porco Rosso (1992).
All sales and proceeds from this zine including artists' fee will be donated to Unicef to help with the current situation in Ukraine. You can find more information online and other ways to donate here.
