The Hot Seat is a collection of drawings that explore the impermanence of the physical objects we perceive in our reality. The destruction of these objects is driven by a primitive desire to see things destroyed, a resentment of existence, and our inability to control the effects of nature.
Tim Lahan, a graphic artist and illustrator based in the USA, balances his time between commercial work and personal projects, ranging from self-publishing to painting. His work has been featured and collected in various formats and locations, including Printed Matter, The New York Public Library, and the MoMA Library.
