Her work explores themes of narrative, time and empathy, seamlessly interweaving elements of mythology, science fiction and the personal experience, to construct a thoughtful and often uncanny body of work. Upritchard’s use of medium is considered and playful, and often steps between delicate watercolour forms, decorated ceramic urns, and angular rubber creatures.
